One working holiday. Two journeys. Three languages.

Australia,
as we truly experienced it.

We’re Inès and Lorenzo. We left Belgium and Italy to take on the Australian adventure. Now we share what we learned with you — honestly, personally and without the sales pitch.

Why PVT Expérience

We spent hours searching for everything online too. What we really missed was a real person to talk to.

No filter

We share the great moments, but also the hard parts, our mistakes and what we would do differently.

02

Truly personal

We start with your plans, your budget and the questions you may not feel comfortable asking elsewhere.

03

Practical

We found our homes, landed our jobs and lived everyday Australian life. That is the experience we share.

Two departures, our adventure

We left to grow. Now we want to help the next person take that leap.

Inès Garcia Calero

I’m Inès. I have ridden horses since I was five and always dreamed of working with animals. Before choosing my studies, I needed a real-life experience. Australia’s farms taught me how to work hard, figure things out and become independent between Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Lorenzo

I’m Lorenzo. Australia was my first big trip. I left alone to learn how to live far from my family and find out what I was capable of. I eventually joined Inès on the farms, where I discovered working with horses and met incredibly welcoming people. This is where I learned independence — and where we met.

How we met in Australia

Two different departures. One adventure we’re continuing together.

We each left home to learn how to live far from our families. We met in Australia, then shared farms, horses, job searches and moves between cities. That experience as a couple — the brilliant moments and the unexpected ones — is what we want to pass on.

This journey helped us grow separately, then together.

For parents too

Parents, you can ask us your questions directly too.

When we left, our families sometimes had different questions from ours. We offer a direct conversation, without an agency sales pitch, with two young people who have genuinely found housing, landed jobs and learned to live independently in Australia.

  • Real budgets, housing and the first few weeks
  • Safety, scams and situations to avoid
  • Work, transport and everyday life
  • How to support your child without limiting their independence
Ask a parent’s questionFrom 15 September 2026, we’ll reply directly from Australia, allowing for the time difference wherever we are based.
